    RO2 Server

    So yeah, our server is full ATM. 64/64 with all NON-WaW members. (I'm the only one on it besides hangman I think) and 2 guys starts TK'ing the **** out of every allies.
    There are alot of guys votekicking those guys but none works...

    Also, over voice chat they are shouting out: "We are taking over this place"

    So I was wondering If it would be possible to make some regular RO2 players admins on the server if possible?

    I've got 2 names of the guys that are TK'ing:

    I was on just now and a player: Teamking100 was spamming the voice chat and text chat, then he started TKing. He left after a few more minutes but he may need to be watched.

    Wondering if you guys may consider setting up the WAW RO/RS Campaign servers to be more balanced. It's usually one sided and when there are 14 allied versus 5 axis it completely defeats the purpose of playing a campaign. The servers are fantasticly setup otherswise and run very smoothly. I am expecting a heckler or 2 about this..............

    We have Balance Teams and Balance Teams on Death both enabled. The Maximum Team Difference is set to 2. This is how it is working on the RO2 server, but I see that the RS server had Balance turned off. I've enabled both conditions, now. Thanks for letting me know.

    It seems to me that the RO campaign had some weaknesses in conception that hindered it that well beyond the poor attendance though I doubt the conception contributed to the low turnout noticeably.
    I am not offering a critique nor being critical by intent or through design although it may seem that way. I am merely giving my perspective which simply means how it appeared to me regardless of how it may have actually been.

    Now that my full-baked yet half-assed disclaimer is done.

    I think that a lack of understanding the mechanics of RO, the campaign system within it and how to integrate the WaW style into the game was evident.
    Overall, for me, the idea was a means toward the end of spending time with folks I've come to know and mostly have a high opinion of, (I say that mainly to keep those with low self esteem anguishing over the idea that they aren't counted among the mostly.) so on that score it wasn't a block buster but I was a hit.

    I suspect that with more thought, meshing the WaW way with the RO system could be a more relaxed fit but in light of the poor turn out, I can't expect there is the sense to try again. I am not judging the idea of not trying it again, I'm just saying I don't have reason to think it will any time soon.

    I fully appreciate the effort that went into the event by all who participated on whatever level, I was entertained regardless of how polished the performance was.

    I like the RO2/RS experience in general, but we have a long way to go to make a campaign of it. Is that possible in today's gaming environment? On that, I have no time for navel gazing.

    Yes, with more thought. The first attempt was to gauge interest and feasibility. On the face of it, it was far from a polished start to which WaW veterans are familiar. That was not the intent, but if we had the manpower to do it, it would have helped.

    Like you say, due to low numbers it makes it difficult to try again. It would be great to get a clear and complete plan to do it again. As with all things, it takes allot to make a Tournament game successful. The actual game is only a part of many parts needed to have a successful Campaign.
